Friend Nicole recommended that I go to Swami's while in San Diego & I'm so happy that I was obedient. Yum! Even better was meeting up with Missy & her girls. I love traveling places & seeing friends along the way (it makes the world feel like a smaller place), especially when it involves good food & a good outing on the beach (even with the clouds). The girls built sandcastles, Avery & I dug our footprints into the sand & Missy & I got to enjoy catching up.

so so SO fun. It was so normal getting together, like we were friends from college and met up for a little day trip.
avery is still asking me to make footprints in the beach and "jump" out of them next time we go.
hopefully next time I see you is in YOUR part of the country in the Spring...
