Say hello.

Kylie Nixon did such a lovely job with Quinn's birth announcements. Love them, really - & my saved copy with be a treasure in the years to come, I think (framed?). I was perfectly pleased with Kylie's ability to merge my abstract ideas (stripes! a cityscape! Bugaboo blue!) with her amazing skills + creativity. Her style is so great & she was just easy to work with, although she may not say the same for me! I harassed her with dozens of emails, & revised the wording what felt like a trazillion times, & she once never yelled at me. :) Her execution was just brilliant, I think & I'm fully planning on utilizing her again. Maybe we'll actually send out Christmas cards someday??

I paired the announcements with curry envelopes from Paper Source, just-different-enough paper clips from Muji & a circle cut out of the bird graphic that I had her do - all clipped together with a photo of a three day old Q.

(Kylie did the invite for my NYC shower, too! She's so good.)

It's on our fridge...right next to Lilly's cow that makes milk (preschool project). Loved everything about it. It made me smile.

Wait, I didn't get mine yet (?!) I'm hoping it is not lost (and also assuming that you sent one to me..)

Regardless, I LOVE it. I want her to do my next one...whenever that is.
