Any day now.

Look at those gums! He still doesn't have any teeth, but I consistently have at least a half-dozen people tell me each day that they're going to pop in any minute. Seriously. Random people everywhere we go say, Oh! Look at those gums! Any day now! Any day!

I don't really believe you, random people. Exhibit A - April 11th. They're clearly taking their time, & really - that's just fine with me.

(I also find it interesting how easily people talk to Quinn wherever we go in the city, peering into his stroller, having conversations with him while we're in line, etc - & yet rarely acknowledge the presence of his mother standing right there. It's kind of awkward, especially when Q fails to perform on cue & just stares blankly back at them.)

Both of my kids didn't have a tooth cut through until a week or two before their first birthday. I am all about toothless babies!

Love toothless. Because then they totally change looks with teeth, still cute. But older.

The conversation thing still happens to me with my girls and a lot of times Avery just stands there too. Strangers asking random questions can be weird wo acknowledging the parent. Funny.
