Ma.

Today, in the middle of his breakfast, he stopped, looked at me & said, "Ma!". Of course I know that he had no idea that this had any significance at all, but I still squealed & almost cried. I'm thrilled. He's been doing funny twisty things with his tongue all week, likely in part because a sharp object was beginning to pierce through his gums, but also probably because he's been figuring out how to make new sounds. It's amazing to watch! And kind of funny! His repertoire is getting quite sophisticated & is growing every day: Gaga, dada, nana, & now... Ma! His first M. Love him.

Next up: Ya'll. We're off to Houston tomorrow for a few days.

Y'all!!!! It took me three years to start saying y'all. It's fantastic. Literally, there are some seriously old Cajun men in my ward here in NOLA and when they really get going I can't quite understand them...except when they stop to say, "I love all y'all." Nothing is quite so sweet. PS - I cannot believe how handsome Mr. Quinn is!

Also - randomly - I have some work acquaintences in Houston that are young married couples, no kids yet, but really sweet people. Let me know if you'd like an email introduction!!

I love his bed head look. It's simply perfect.

Poor baby. THose top photos are so so precious. You can see the sadness in his face, but he is trying to smile through it and be happy. Bless his heart.

And hooray for him saying Ma! So very exciting. Happy house/ car/ new life hunting. :) You guys will do great!
