New York, we're coming home.

This poor boy has been in a car seat all day long, every single day since Saturday. I'm sure we've seriously stunted his development, but so it goes. He's eaten all of his meals on the run (strapped into his car seat for solids, or in lots of random spots for nursing). He's taken most of his naps while we've driven, & has been well behaved at restaurants & with strangers. He's really been so good! So good. We only had one little sad period the other day, & I didn't blame him even a tiny bit - in & out of a car seat all day isn't any fun for a city baby. And really, had it been a respectable thing to do, I'm sure I would have expressed my feelings in a similar fashion. We're tired.

We fly home in 8 hours. I cannot wait to be home, even if home is the size of your average Texan closet.

I can't wait to hear your details too. I can relate with trying to get a baby to live in a carseat after living in NY - not the easiest! Glad that Quinn did so well. Send me a real estate update when you get the chance & safe travels! :)
