This is proof that I do in fact cook. My mom insisted on taking a picture of me so that she could show her friends. Seriously. I have come a long way.
I may not have very much counterspace (or cupboard space) but I really do like to cook. Among my favorite things to make: spicy bulgur burgers, prosciutto & basil lasagna, chicken with raita, mini meatballs, Real Simple's last minute lasagna, Debbie's Smith's breadsticks, crepes, eggs with fresh chives and of course... cookies. Mike specializes in quesadillas (the best ever), spaghetti, Bolivian food and a new dessert that he discovered on the Food Network - bananas drizzled with peanut butter and honey. YUM!

I live in New York! All the apartments are small! :) It was hard to get used to, but we love our "cozy" apartment now. We still have dreams of an actual kitchen or even (gasp) another bedroom or office, but those days will come soon enough... perhaps we will even have a yard someday (or at least grass within a few blocks!).
