Our Stake in Spokane did a production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in the mid 90's & I was in the children's choir. Cheyenne Jackson (a close friend of the director's daughter, who played the narrator) played Joseph & was absolutely amazing. I remember some drama between him & a married woman in the cast who was chasing him... turns out that he likes boys, & not girls, but apparently she didn't know that at the time. But I digress - Perez (don't judge) did a post on him today (he's made it big time, currently staring in Xanadu on Broadway) & I couldn't help but think of when he & I shared the stage together all those years ago- & by shared I mean I sang back up- & by back up I mean that I sang with a dozen other ten year olds in brightly colored tshirts & jeans, mostly going la la la la la over & over again.

He almost takes my 62 year old breath away!!! Such a fine looking man he's become.....I'm glad he's done well because he had such talent from the beginning. he was captivating as Joseph in our Stake play, but frankly I only had eyes for my girl!
Wait a minute...Jan you are 62?? I had no idea you were that much older than my mom. You look so young for 62!!
I remember Cheyenne in our Stake Play...amazing! Pretty cool for you to be in the play with him even if it was a small part. :)
