Two Little Red Hens. Yesterday, after making a valiant attempt in the rain to go to the Guggenheim. Note to self: The Guggenheim is open 6 days a week. It's closed on Thursdays. Oops.
Strawberry (or Raspberry) Jam is my new favorite. Berry frosting, a gooey filling & a lighter-than-average cake. Maybe even better than Brooklyn Blackout (or even the Red Velvet), although Mike might politely disagree.

Is that hot chocolate? With marshamallows or whipped cream and are those chocolate shavings?? Obviously it looks good to me.
You should write a food guide to NYC. And take the pictures for it too.

i thought that hot chocolate was a chocolate souffle. that's my kind of hot chocolate.
perfectly-thick, but not so thick you need a spoon (a la City Bakery). Lots of mini marshmallows + chocolate shavings. Yum, yum yum. Oh. And maybe whipped cream, too.
