I just threw up a tiny bit.

Can someone please teach me how to run a marathon?? 26.2 miles?! Seriously?!

Begin by throwing away your metro-pass and walking everywhere.

Congratulations! You will do great, at least you have lots of time to train!

We were in San Fran last year during that marathon. It looked like a cool event to be a part of.

Good luck. You will do great! You are very brave.

Oh boy! You're going to be a lean, mean fighting machine. Being so goal oriented, I know you'll do fabulously well. What a super incentive to be in the best shape ever! Do you think Mike might join you on some of your runs? That could be fun too. Congratulations!

Have you run one before? I think you said you had, but I'm running one in may for my first time ever. I have to say that a great running store (SL running co) gave me confidence along with a book by Jeff Galloway-Marathon-you can do it. Seriously, it doesn't feel so daunting anymore. If that is remotely possible. My first day running I thought I was going to throw up and then pass out but it has gotten better. Good luck to you! My husband also bikes along side me on my long runs which is fun.

Um, good luck with that. You know I am not the one to teach but I hope you find someone that can!

Hooray for you! You'll do great Kathryn. At least you've done a half. I'm convinced a large part of the marathon compared to the half marathon is purely mental.

I just ran 20 miles last weekend for my race in 3 weeks. I can give pointers if you need them, let me know!
