I take my camera everywhere.

And consequently end up with a lot of random photos + quizzical looks from my husband who wonders what I'm doing.

Like the texture / colors that I liked at Shake Shack last night before we went to the temple (with Dave, who came in to hang out with us for the night). The UWS location has these really great brick walls that have so much character. They're so pretty, & I thought that the light + contrast which my shiny bag was fun.

Or the lights outside a church as we were waiting for the bus on Central Park West.

Wyatt & Fox playing on the swings at Central Park. Fox loved it. Wyatt not so much.

JG Melon on our way home last night. We like that place & it's just right around the corner which makes the decision to eat out very easy sometimes. The Sour Cream Apple Pie. Mmm.

Our "kitchen table" last week when we had friend Tim over for dinner. We're not really sure how we're ever going to entertain more than one friend at a time We love our apartment, but it's cozy.

Fox, when he demolished his Shake Burger the other day. I showed Mike the photos & he was shocked. Fox. Eating a burger. Crazy.

Steam. Those things always kind of scare me.

I might take photos of weird / random things, but I love it - & I figure it's the only way that I'll get better.

As far as I'm concerned, there's no such thing as taking pictures of weird things. You think something's beautiful, and you take pictures of it. It allows other people to see the way that you see and that, in my opinion, is always a beautiful thing:) Nothing weird about that! I can see the beauty in all of your pictures, and I didn't have to think twice about why you took any of them so obviously I think you're doing a great job.

Can you tell me what juice is in that carafe? It looks like pink lemonade which just so happens to be my favorite drink.

If taking pictures of random things means more for the blog...well, snap away K.

Pink lemonade, Missy. Yup. It's a yummy summer drink. My newest favorite though is anything with mint - especially this juice that they have at Two Little Red Hens. It's different fruit juices mixed with mint. Yum.
