She really was brilliant. Loved her show, even if it was preceded by the worst puking incident of my pregnancy (thus far - my hopes aren't high).
She played all my favorites, brought some of her singer / songwriter friends along, & all of it benefited Doctors Without Borders. I'm always up for a good cause.
Two little snippets (my weak arms could barely hold up my camera for more than 30 seconds at a time):
In other news this week, friend Sarah Jane is visiting New York this week which makes me happy, friend Jill & I are in the middle of making a pillow similar to this one, it might snow tonight (!!), Baby Indie had her first subway ride yesterday (which made me just a teensy bit emotional, because the Burtons are leaving in a few months & thinking about that makes my stomach hurt), & Mike & I are putting on our most emo outfits & going to see Dashboard Confessional at Nokia Theater in a few hours - the last time I saw them was my freshman year at BYU on a really awkward date with a very zealous RM.

i really loved that version of 'better' with the strings. so pretty. have fun at dashboard. they remind me of the days when i was single and wanted to date the long-haired climber/biker/skier dudes.
Ahh, so jealous of your access to so many concerts!
you have been busy! i hope you had fun at the concert.
ps. i love my pillow :)
hope you have had fun at DC too! devin and I used to always listen to them when we were dating.
of course regina would put on a good concert. that sounds fun (though your long day does not sound quite as fun. you are a trooper!)
