It's a real kick in the pants to have insomnia + a newborn.

5:15am. My child is fed, & asleep. I am awake.

So we'll look at photos of bath time from the other night instead - one of the few times that Q hasn't screamed bloody murder the entire time. It was a nice change of pace from the boy that hates being naked, hates being changed, & hates getting a bath. We're working on his manners + tendency to yell.

Please excuse the horrid lighting of my (tiny) bathroom. I've got to work with what I have, but I'm feeling less-than-confident about my photos as of late. Sigh. Apparently I can't focus on being a mother + proper exposure at the same time.

He's looking so content - You could have fooled me that he doesn't like his bath. I love his little tub.I hate insomnia. Look at the time of this post. :(

my sister audrey and i were discussing how much we love your blog right now. you are perfectly capturing the newness/exhaustion/overwhelming task of motherhood. you are going to look back at this someday and love what you wrote and recorded so much. xoxo.

Stop it right now! Quinn is growing up so fast. He is absolutely adorable and I feel like he has changed so much since the last time I saw him. Hooray for a very handsome baby.

I love bath time at our house. Maybe because it means bedtime is right around the corner :) There's nothing better than snuggling with fresh from the tub kiddos.

So do you like the Puj or no? I've never had it, but he looks like he enjoys it!

his cheeks are beginning to touch his shoulders which means he is getting even more kissable. Love when the neck gets hidden under rolls.

I really don't love it Missy - it's such a good concept, but his little feet get stuck in the bottom part where it fold together (eek) - see! like in the photo on the right, 2nd photo down. I'm always having to pull his foot out so it doesn't get twisted... Anyway. We'll get a sponge soon or something...
