And then the sun came out.

Yesterday was our first day of sunshine in who knows how many days. We walked to church in the morning & wished we had sunglasses in our bags. On our walk home, I pulled Q's sun cover on his stroller back so that the bright sun would keep him awake (church = always over due for a nap). It was amazing to watch his face light up in the sun while his eyes darted back & forth at everything around him. He's been so bundled up & covered this winter that he's hardly gotten to really explore his surroundings. And now, he's older, & he's aware, & the sun finally came out! I think everything looked brand new to him.

We spent the afternoon lounging as a family, with the blinds pulled all the way up. I didn't even mind that I had to squint.

Yes, wasn't the sun lovely!! It felt like spring for a day. We're all excited to get out of our ice caves here in Connecticut.

I actually sat on a park bench for more than 2 minutes Sunday. Just sat there and let the sun try to do some damage to my skin. It felt so good!
