Do you want to see what tired looks like?

Carpenters working in our home all day long today meant that Quinn didn't get the beauty sleep that he's used to (staple guns & table saws are not conducive to napping - go figure). He's still solidly in the two naps camp, & an early morning wakeup this morning didn't help his situation at all. By 9am this boy looked like he'd been through the third world war. His mood continued throughout the day, pacified only when he felt the peaceful serenity that comes with having a finished project. 

I was perfectly thrilled to put him to bed shortly after 6:15 tonight. Mama was tired. Q was, too.

So. We have built ins in our living room & I am supersuper excited about them. Another project off the very-very-long-list makes me quite pleased, as does having a home for a few of our favorites books & such. Now, let's all bow our heads & say a little prayer together that our ordered furniture shows up before Thanksgiving.

*Also: I received no fewer than a dozen UPS / Fed Ex packages today. I'm sure our delivery men hate me already. 
*Also: Mike just got home from traveling all week. Hooray! Although this means that I'll have to start eating things other than green smoothies & brownies + chocolate chip cookies (thank you, Bishop's wife) again.
