Christmas 2010 (in January 2011).

It wasn't quite a month ago. So I'm not that late! Right?

(Except seriously - in four weeks, our child is a new boy. I'm telling you. A brand new boy, no longer an infant, in that quick amount of time. He's already changed so much from these photos. It's amazing.)

Christmas actually happened, despite not being immediately documented (!). We did quite a bit in Portland, but I've already told you about most of that (including how our sweet boy poo'd on Santa, how we tried to ship him via AirMail back to NYC, & Q turned a whopping 14 weeks). Despite the fact that we were stuck for an extra week, being stuck didn't have the negative connotations that the word suggests. I loved being stuck there, although Tara maybe wishes that we hadn't been, because I made brownies for her kids from scratch that they're now demanding every day (instead of the really great ones from the box - there's nothing wrong with Ghiradelli!).

Anyway. Some random photos from our trip, including all of the attention that Q was able to get from his aunt, uncle, cousins & Grandma & Grandpa. His first Christmas was lovely, & some of his favorite gifts that he opened that morning included a really great down puffy snow suit from his dad, & a several really special books from Grandma & Grandpa (including one that has a recording of them reading it as you turn the pages - so neat). Plus, the cute bear that matches his playmat that I just love, from Grandma. Q says thank you.

And now, I will post photos + list + link all of the fabulous gifts that Mike gave me.

Kidding. But people do that! Seriously!

Anyway. Merry Christmas! A month ago.

(It was dark! Who gets up when it's still dark?! I guess kids do. And Quinn, sometimes. That's why we look so... tired.)

Okay if that is what you look like when you wake up... Lucky Mike. Seriously, not fair.

I was just about to email you for that brownie recipe, I always go with the Ghirardelli but am ready to try homemade.

LOVE all the pics! I think I like Q's mouth/lips the best - is that weird? His expressions he makes with his mouth are to die for! My fav pic is the last fam pic of the 3 of you - precious.
